Course objective

This course reviews the setup of Analytics for LS Central.

After completing this course, you should be able to:

  • Set up Analytics for LS Central for LS Central on-premises/VM and Analytics in Azure
  • Understand the structure of the Analytics Data Warehouse
  • Understand the structure of the Analytics Azure Data Factory
  • Understand the Azure cost model and the factors that contribute to the cost of running Analytics
  • Understand the day-to-day operation of the Analytics environment in Azure
  • Troubleshoot errors that may occur and send reports through support
  • Understand how to create new report pages as well as publish, refresh, and distribute reports

Preparation requirements

All participants must have the latest version of LS Central Virtual Machine (VM) installed before the course. It is possible to download it from the LS Retail Portal by clicking on the link provided. If you cannot access the VM site, please contact academy@lsretail.com. 

Please make sure you have your current/updated developer license with LS Retail objects available and uploaded to the server on the VM.

All participants should be local administrators of the machines they use.
